Content and Intellectual Property Policy

At ZAIKAI Apparel, we empower creativity — but we are also committed to upholding legal, ethical, and inclusive standards. This policy outlines the rules around content submission and intellectual property for all custom designs submitted through our platform.

1. Intellectual Property Rights By submitting a design for print or upload, you confirm that:

• You own the rights to the design or have obtained proper, documented permission from the rightful owner.

• Your design does not infringe any third-party copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, or other legal protections.

You retain ownership of your original design. However, by submitting it to ZAIKAI Apparel for fulfilment, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the content solely for the purpose of producing and delivering your order.

ZAIKAI Apparel disclaims all liability for content submitted by users. You are solely responsible for any legal consequences that arise from unauthorized use of protected materials.

If we discover that a submitted design violates copyright or intellectual property laws, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

2. Prohibited Content We strictly prohibit content that includes:

• Hate speech, discrimination, or offensive material targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

• Explicit, obscene, or pornographic content.

• Violence, threats, or content that promotes harm.

• Harassment, bullying, or abuse.

• Unauthorised use of brand logos, celebrity images, or trademarks.

 

3. Moderation and Enforcement ZAIKAI Apparel retains full discretion to review, moderate, and reject any submitted designs that we believe:

• Violate this policy

• May pose reputational risk

• Are technically unprintable or inappropriate for our printing partners

If a submitted design breaches our guidelines:

• We will cancel the order and issue a refund

• We may suspend or disable your account for repeat violations

• We reserve the right to cooperate with rights holders or legal authorities as required

 

4. Reporting Infringements If you believe your intellectual property has been used without authorisation on our platform, please contact us at: info@zaikai.co with proof of ownership and a clear description of the infringing content.
